identity as an evil Sith Lord and ordered all Jedi to be killed. 

When he met with Yoda, who had also survived with some Republic Senators, they searched for any survivers. They were the last remaining Jedi. When they went to the Temple they discovered that Anakin had turned to the Dark Side and become an apprentice to Darth Sidious (The Chancellor). Yoda set out to kill the more powerful one, the Chancellor, and Obi-Wan had to go and kill his Padawan, who had been consumed by the Dark Side. Informtion from his secret wife, located him on the Mustufar system, killing the remaing Sepratist leaders. They were forming the Galactic Empire. Obi-Wan fought with him, chopping off 3 of his limbs and leaving him to burn in lava. Anakin managed to survive though through a cybernetic life support. Yoda had also failed to murder the Grand Sith Lord. 

Anakin's wife, Padme', had two children on that day; Luke and Leia. She died during childbirth. He seperated the children so his evil father wouldn't find them. Leia went to the Republic Senator's, who later formed the Rebel Alliance, and Luke went to his father's family, where Obi-Wan watched over him. Yoda went into hiding in the Dagobah system. 

At the beggining of the 4th film, Obi-Wan recieved a message through two droids that Luke had found. They requested that he hand the droids over to the Rebel Alliance because they contained vital information. He partially spilled the truth to Luke about where he was from and who his mother and father were. They went on the Millenium Falcon over to Aldaraan where the Republic Senators lived. It turned out though that Aldaraan had been destroyed by a massive Space Station of the Galactic Empire. They were attracted towards it a Tractor Beam. They hid in secret compartments within the ship. He went to turn off the Tractor Beam and was successful, but upon his escape he was intercepted by Darth Vader his previous padawan. He was killed and the others escaped with the Rebel Princess.

Trained by Yoda to be able to live as a spirit when dead, he continued to guide Luke throughout his life. When Vader turned back to the Jedi, he, Yoda and Anakin were all spirits together peacefully at the end of the 6th film.

Nothing about him has been mentioned in the 7th film.
