George Lucas
George Lucas is the Producer of the fictional movie 'Star Wars.' He is also famous for his contribution to the movie series, 'Indiana Jones'.
He was born on May 14, 1944, in Modesto, California. The place where he grew up, inspired the first film he created, 'American Graffiti'. He then went on to help with Indiana Jones and create Star War., which was looked down upon by his filmmaker friends before it's release.
Before George Lucas discovered his love of film making, he decided he wanted to be a race car driver. But after a near-fatal crash whilst racing, changed his mind and supported his discovery of his love of film making.
George Lucas spent many years as a single father, with an adopted daughter, but in 2013 he announced his engagement to Mellody Hobson. They went on to adopt two more children.
In 2014, he retired from film making. He sold the Star Wars series to Disney for 4 billion dollars. He knew he was incapable of constructing more Star Wars films, and he did not want Star Wars to stop there. He wanted Star Wars to continue to inspire children to adults for many years to come.
Once he sold it, he realised that he did not need the 4 billion dollars and that there were people in need. He donated every last speck of that 4 billion dollars to charity, that would support the lives of many people.
George Lucas is a wonderful role model who will inspire young film makers for years to come. His Star Wars films, are said to be the best in the world, and his contributions to Indiana Jones made it very successful. So are you like George Lucas, do you have a hidden talent? Their is only one way to find out. Clutch every new experience and let it inspire you. Show perseverence and never give up. You never know, their could be a hidden talent hiding inside you!
