Clone Trooper

Clone Troopers were the grand soldiers of the Galactic Republic. Rather than strength in numbers like the Sepratist droids they were designed for maximim strength and health.

 

Master Sifo-Dyas commanded the creation of the clones without the permission of the Jedi Council when he was aware that a battle was approaching. The troopers were cloned of Jango Fett, who was killed during the Battle of Geonosis. They were genetically modified to listen to any order given to them, to grow faster and other various mods. 

 

When master Sifo-Dyas was killed, no one was aware of the creations going on. Eventually Obi-Wan Kenobi discovered this, and very soon they were fighting throughout the Republic, resisting the Sepratist droids. 

 

Their first battle was the battle of Geonosis. They went to rescue the Jedi who had been overwhelmed by Sepratist droids. They fought and destroyed major battle stations, almost discovering the plans for the Death Star.

 

One of the rules stuck into Clone Troopers was a secret rule, order 66. When this ordered they must kill all Jedi they can find, even if they are being commanded by them. This happens and eventually all Jedi are murdered besides a remaining few. They Clone Troopers creation was stopped and the Clone Troopers transformed into conscripted humans.
